Acoustic conditioning of meeting room
Renovation and conditioning

The aim of this project was to update the aesthetics of a meeting room that already had adequate acoustic comfort, giving it a more modern look and a more organic design.
In the pre-renovation phase, we found a generic distribution of materials. A suspended ceiling of 600x600 mm Acustec-N panels covered 100% of the available surface. The walls were treated with Acustiart Totem sound-absorbing blocks, two units of high-resolution screen-printed Acustiart Digital panels, and the wall where the large VR acoustic viewer was located included four Acustiart Curve panels.
The approach to the acoustic absorption treatment renovation focuses on conveying a professional and modern image. The design aims to create a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere, while simultaneously reflecting innovation, functionality, and aesthetics.
That's why we focus on the application of our Designer Absorbent Panels.

The acoustic treatment of the ceiling has focused on two key products:
- Freedom acoustic ceiling panels, in a 600x600mm format, in color 13 Iguana, with a uniform and functional design, aiming to bring lightness to the space.
- The Ceiling Belly System creates a suspended acoustic element with an organic, layered design that enhances sound absorption and generates visual depth. Its minimalist design in Onyx complements the modern and understated aesthetic without visually overwhelming the ceiling.

The main wall, located opposite the VR Acoustic Viewer, has been designed as a control surface for the full frequency range thanks to its thickness relative to the base surface.
It's important to note that this wall is parallel to the wall of the acoustic viewer, which could potentially create modal problems in the room's frequency response. By treating one of the two walls with a broad-spectral absorbent material, we minimize this effect.
The wall has been treated with the Wall Panel Morph system in Iguana color. Its organic, wavy design provides variation in thickness, making it ideal for controlling frequency ranges that thinner materials cannot achieve. Furthermore, its ribbed design effectively mitigates random sound incidence. It adds texture and dynamism, transforming this surface into a focal point within the overall aesthetic of the space.

Taking advantage of the product's versatility, the company logo has been die-cut onto the surface of the material, aligning the project's acoustic approach with the company's branding through the inclusion of the logo and corporate color.
For this purpose, the Starfish logo panel was used, perfectly reflecting the company's corporate image.

Initial tests have surprised those who regularly work in this room.
It's important to note that several acoustic objectives have been achieved:
- Reduced reverberation time.
- Reduced background noise levels.
- Improved speech intelligibility.
- Increased sense of privacy during conversations and video conferences.
