Acoustic booth for protection of workers in industry
Acústica Integral has realized the assembly of an acoustic cabin for the protection of the personnel in an auxiliary industry of the aeronautical sector.
The aim is to ensure that daily levels of exposure according to RD 286 are within a range suitable for daily exposure to noise from the industrial machinery with which they work.
POSSIBLE ACOUSTIC TREATMENTS IN INDUSTRY.
Acoustic treatments in industrial environments are very varied, and must be adapted appropriately to the production process, so that the implementation of corrective measures do not lead to a reduction in daily production. The acoustic elements that are installed must adapt as much as possible to the production process, trying not to modify the manufacturing work by the workers.
It will be possible to carry out treatments in three fundamental points: treatments in the transmitter, treatments in the medium of transmission and treatments in the receiver of the noise.
The treatments in the emitter are focused on modifying the emission characteristics of the emitting sources, modifying their constructive characteristics, without modifying their productive characteristics. Enclosures, shields, access doors, acoustic displays, acoustic tunnels for product entrance and exit, etc.
The treatments in the medium of transmission, apply to the environment of the industrial plant, performing treatments oriented to the noise control in general: sectorization of zones, absorbent treatments of ceilings and walls, etc.
The treatments in the receiver are oriented to the own worker and can be applied when the operators have positions more or less fixed, like control points, zones of monitoring of the machinery or the production. The objective is to directly protect the operator in his work, avoiding in this way the realization of great treatments on the machines themselves.
TREATMENTS FOR THE CASE IN STUDY.
In the case in question, the treatment has been performed on the worker, making an acoustic cabinet composed of acoustic panels of the type Acustimodul80A . The access to the interior of the cabin has been made by means of the acoustic door RS5C of 46 dB with rectangular viewer. The need for wide visibility has been realized with acoustic visuals of the type VRC of special dimensions, allowing an absolute control of the zone of production from a point in the interior of the cabin.
